Lamia Sayegh

Lamia Sayegh joined Fakih IVF as a Specialist, Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2013. She is Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECMFG) certified and successfully passed the certification process set by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in USA. Dr. Lamia's interests lie in female primary care and research; she completed a year as a research fellow in the department of Endocrinology in the American University of Beirut that allowed her to widen her knowledge in major endocrinological problems affecting women, such as Vitamin D deficiency and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Dr. Lamia is distinguished by her professionalism, competence, transparency and kind approach. She is currently involved in many studies about PCOS, Endometriosis and labor abnormalities. Recently, she was the first author in a publication in Metabolism journal, titled "Vitamin D in Endometriosis: A Causative or Confounding Factor?" 2013.
