Mariam Georgette

Prior to her recruitment to Corniche Hospital, Dr. Georgette served as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital, UK.

Dr. Georgette has accumulated 19 years of specialist training and experience within busy district general and teaching hospitals throughout the UK in the areas of Fetal Medicine, Maternal Medicine and Advanced Obstetric Scanning. Dr. Georgette has also had over 12 years of experience in the management of gynecologic patients as evidenced by attainment of Level II Minimal Access Surgery accreditation in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and management of a Menstrual Disorder Clinic with the capacity for scanning and outpatient hysteroscopy.

Dr. Georgette brings to Corniche a strong commitment to teaching, training, audit and risk management, having been involved in cross disciplinary teaching at the Royal London, in risk management and maternity board meetings, and in teaching coordination for a joint teaching program between The Whittington Hospital and University College Hospital in London.

Awards:
She has co-authored research on "HPV and Cervical Screening" that assessed the recent evidence on the role of HPV testing in three clinical settings and has given a number of presentations and lectures in prestigious settings.
