Mohamed Ziani

Dr. Ziani is the Head of Urology, at SKMC. He introduced the laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery in urology fields, urological oncology with early detection and treatment of bladder, prostate and kidney cancers, female urology in UAE in 2007. He also performed the first Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer in June 2008 in the UAE and at present time, the only laparoscopic surgeon in the UAE performing Laparoscopic live donor nephrectomies in the transplant kidney program.

Prior to SKMC, he was a Consultant Urologist in the Clinic Du Parc Hospital, Capio Group in Toulouse, France mainly dedicated for Laparoscopic urological procedures and female urology. Before that he was a University lecturer and Consultant Urologist in the Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation in the Teaching University Hospital of Amiens, France, dedicated to the general Urology and the renal transplantation program.
