Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Burney finished his MBBS in 1987 and his MD (Pathology) in 1992 at AMU, Aligarh, India. During his medical practice, he has acquired clinical affiliations with healthcare institutions based in India, KSA, Australia, and Qatar. He worked for Australian Red Cross Blood Services and for Institute of Hematology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital – the major teaching hospitals affiliated with the University of Sydney.

Prior to practicing in UAE, he worked as a Consultant Hematopathologist and Head of Hematology and Blood Bank Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar for 3 years, then at King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah, KSA for another 3 years. Dr. Burney is a fellow of Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia since 2000.
