Dr. Baharoon is a Nuclear Medicine Consultant at SKMC since 2006. Dr. Baharoon went to medical school at King Saud University in 1990 (MBBS) and then did her internship at SKMC. She later went to Germany to study Nuclear medicine at Bonn University where she had her Facharzt in Nuclear medicine. She then practiced Nuclear Medicine department at SKMC till 2002 and then went to study pediatric Nuclear medicine in Great Ormond street Children hospital London.
In 1997 she was recognized by the UAE Ministry of Higher Educational and Scientific Research for her excellent performance during her post graduate studies and in 1999 was awarded by UAE Association for Cultural and Scientific Studies ( Sheikh Rashid “s Prize for Higher Education ).
