Dr. Rolf Soehnchen

Dr Rolf is a Consultant Dermatologist with over 30 years of experience in Dermatology. He is a German Board qualified Dermatologist and Allergologist and also holds an additional degree in Phlebology and the respected post graduate diploma – D.A.L.M. (Diploma in Aesthetic Laser Medicine) from Greifswald University, Germany. Dr Rolf also has additional qualifications from the German Dermatologic Academy (DDA) in cosmetic dermatology, laser medicine and tropical dermatology.

Dr Rolf completed his residency at the Dermatologic University Hospital Munich, a 2-year fellowship in dermato-oncology at Sloan-Kettering Institute, New York, and has later been the lead clinician (Oberarzt) for dermatologic surgery in the Dermatologic hospital of Free University Berlin. After over 10 years in private practice in Germany, he came to Dubai in 2006. His previous positions in Dubai include head of the dermatology department of a major private hospital in Dubai and consultant dermatologist at several other clinics. Later in 2011, Dr Rolf opened the Cooper Dermatology clinic, which later merged with a major hospital group in Dubai.

He is also a member of the faculty of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and is teaching and training doctors in aesthetic medicine.
