Shahina Parveen

Dr. Parveen completed her MBBS from Calcutta Medical College and MD in Obsterics and Gynaecology with post graduate resident training at the All India Institute of Medical sciences, New Delhi. She received her MRCOG and FRCOG from UK and completed her Post graduate training in multiple sub-specialties such as feto- maternal medicine, labour ward and critical care management, urogynecology, oncology and minimally invasive surgery for benign diseases in Specialist training posts at University Hospitals in the North-West Deanery of UK. Dr Parveen has continued her training and development in the areas mentioned and is performing level 3 laparoscopic surgeries for benign gynecological diseases

Dr. Parveen has more than 16 years of experience as a consultant with extensive experience in feto-maternal medicine, pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence surgery, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery for benign gynaecological disorders.

Member of AAGL (American association of Gynaecological Laproendoscopists, US) IMA (Indian Medical Association and Federation of Obstetrical and Gynaecological society of India. Through continued active participation at workshops and conferences of AAGL has remained updated with current practices in minimally invasive surgery. Member of Risk Management and JCIA accreditation committees of Corniche Hospital. Member of Core faculty of resident training program at Corniche Hospital.

Dr. Parveen was awarded university scholarships, medals in several subjects during her under graduate course and at all three exit exams at medical school. She received a gold medal in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with Honors in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pathology, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the final MBBS exit examination.
