Dr. Shahnaz Shah obtained her post graduate training from United Kingdom. She was also awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialized Training (CCST), UK. In addition, Dr. Shah has accumulated years of experience and training by working in specialist centers in the UK including Urodynamics, Colposcopy and medical disorders.
She obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, UK in 1988 and was later admitted as a Fellow to the Royal College in 1990.
Dr. Shah is a Consultant Obstetric and Gynaecology at Corniche Hospital. Since joining Corniche Hospital in 1989, Dr. Shah has made huge contributions to the hospital’s Obstetric and Gynaecology department. She has been responsible in establishing the Colposcopy Clinic, Obstetric Medical Clinic and Minimal Invasive Surgical procedures and taking lead and ownership of commencing Monthly Maternal Morbidity meeting.
Awards:
Dr. Shah has won several awards; notable among which are the Edwin Lillie Medal for securing the first position in D.G.O examination, Pakistan International Airlines- Gold Medal for Dedication beyond Duty, Overseas Travel Award by The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to gain training in Minimal Access Surgery at the WEL Foundation, UK.
