Sulaiman Al-Saqqaf

Dr. Sulaiman Al-Saqqaf has more than 23 years of experience in Pediatrics, with special interest in Pediatric Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Critical Care. He graduated Doctor in Medicine from the University of Havana, Cuba in 1980. Then, he completed High Studies in Cardiology and was a first class Specialist in Pediatrics from the same university in 1986.

Dr. Sulaiman has worked in various hospitals and universities in Yemen, both as a physician and a lecturer/professor. In 2000, he moved to UAE and continued his practice as a Specialist/Consultant Pediatrician in a large private hospital within UAE. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Sulaiman was a lecturer in a program affiliated with the World Health Organization (WHO) for the Ministry of Health (MOH), Yemen in 1990.

He was also involved in a breastfeeding and child protection program under UNICEF, and was part of the Arab Board Program for Pediatrics under the supervision of WHO and MOH-Yemen. In addition to having done research and publications, he is a member of notable organizations including the British Pediatric Association, Pan-Arab Congenital Heart Disease Association, and the Cuban Association of Pediatric Cardiology to name a few.
