Dr. Uldrich Wandel

Dr. Uldrich Wandel graduated as Dentist from the University of Göteborg in Sweden in January 1995. He spent 5 years working in his native Sweden and 4 years in Greenland, before arriving in the U.A.E., in the fall of 2003. After almost 14 years in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Wandel finally settled in Dubai in 2017.

Dr. Wandel is a Graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, WA, USA, which is an Evidence Based Dental Teaching Center for comprehensive treatment planning and delivery. This brings together the many specialist aspects of dentistry for the general dentist to master a much higher level of patient care. The Center provides a yearly upgrade that Dr. Wandel always attends.

Dr. Wandel is a Graduate of the Implant Dentistry Study Consortium through Temple University, NJ, and a member of the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists). Dr. Wandel has undergone extensive education with the American short implant system Bicon at it’s headquarters in Boston, MA, USA, as well as their other teaching facilities in Germany, Italy and Colombia. Dr. Wandel is a member in the accreditation process of the AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and has spent the last ten years studying smile analysis, design and execution with many of the great teachers in this field in predominantly the US and Brazil. From being primarily an art form at the mercy of manual skills with composites, the digital age has provided immense advances in consumer friendly digital smile design deliveries of high precision machine milled ceramics. Dr. Wandel is well trained in all.

In addition, Dr. Wandel is both fond of and proficient in the use of several Dental Lasers. The emphasis here is on treating periodontal (gum) disease and for surgical purposes.

Dr. Wandel’s primary philosophy in delivering comprehensive dental care is to the best of his ability do it at a mastery level and treat every patient as if they were a close friend
