Urooj Ahmed

Dr. Ahmed is a Gastroenterology Consultant at SKMC. He manages and provides consultations for patients suffering from all kinds of gastrointestinal diseases including gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcer, H. pylori gastritis, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis, cirrhosis, pancreatitis, biliary diseases and gastrointestinal cancer.

Dr. Ahmed performs advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy with polypectomy, upper endoscopy, control of bleeding, variceal band ligation, Argon plasma coagulation, PEG, ERCP and gastrointestinal stent placement. Dr. Ahmed is a fellow of American college of gastroenterology.
