Dr. Jean Marc Dersot

Dr. Jean-Marc defended his thesis for Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS). After 3 years of collaboration, he opened his own first clinic in Paris 8th arrondissement, a few meters from the Elysée, where he practiced general dentistry.

During this time, he passed 3 CES (Technology of dental biomaterials, Periodontology, Fixed Prosthesis) and 3 DU (Periodontics, Oral dermatology, Oral-maxillofacial legal expertise). Between 1988 and 1992. He was Assistant-Professor at the Faculty of Dental Surgery – Paris V and he is still today a lecturer. After a few years of fundamental research, he obtained his PhD.

Since the 90’s, Dr. Jean Marc has focused his practice to Periodontics, Implant Surgery and Oral Surgery. He was also the President of the French Society of Periodontology and Oral Implantology (SFPIO) and the representative of France at the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

He is an international member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and an associate-member of the National Academy of Dental Surgery (ANCD). Basically, a clinician, he is also an international speaker and has written numerous articles in English and French journals.
