Dr. Syed Hasnain Haider-Shah received his medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine, Montreal Canada.
He completed his Rotating Medical/Surgical Internship at Hurley Medical Center/ Michigan State University.
He completed his Radiology Residency from Henry Ford Hospital System/Wayne State University, Michigan ,USA.
He then completed his fellowship training at the combined University of Michigan/Henry Ford Health System Michigan , USA in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. He then completed fellowship in Neurointerventional Radiology and Interventional Pain Management at University of Michigan/Henry Ford Health System. He completed fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Radiology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Mott Children’s Hospital Ann Arbor. He also performed elective training at MD Anderson Cancer Center and The Hospital for Sick Children.
Dr. Haider-Shah is fellowship trained in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Pediatric Interventional Radiology, Neurointerventional Radiology and Interventional Pain Management. He is also trained in Complementary and Alternative Medicine Techniques. He is American Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology. He is also American Board Certified in Regenerative Medicine and member of American Academy of Regenerative Medicine.
He is a recognized expert in Interventional Radiology, Pediatric Interventional Radiology, Neurointervention and Interventional Pain Management. He is a clinical Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan, USA. He has trained other physicians and lectured in the MENA region including UAE, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bahrain and Qatar.
Similarly he is frequently asked to perform physician training and lectures worldwide including in the USA, Canada, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Cyprus, Turkey and Korea.
Dr. Haider-Shah is also the only Western Trained Consultant level Fellowship trained Combined Neurointerventionalist and Peripheral Interventionalist in the UAE. He completed his MBA in Healthcare management and Marketing from Desautels School of Management from McGill University.
In the USA, Dr. Haider-Shah has served as Director of Neurointervention and Interventional Pain Management, Oakwood Hospital, Michigan, USA Dr. Haider-Shah has served as the Director of Neurointervention and Interventional Pain Clinic, Marquette General Hospital, Michigan, USA.
In the UAE , he has been the Director of Neurointervention at SEHA ;SKMC, Tawam, Mafraq and Al-Ain Hospitals. He is the former Chair of Radiology and Director of Interventional Radiology, Neurointervention and Pain Management at Universal Hospital In Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He is also the former Chief Strategy Officer and Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Universal Hospital System. He presently an on staff Physician at multiple hospitals in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Healthcare City. He works at the Westminster Ortho Med Clinic in the Dubai Healthcare City.
