In the Summer of 2016, Dr Kate travelled to the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games with the Great Britain team where she worked as one of five core team doctors providing care to athletes both pre-competition and for the duration of the games. She continues to work with various international teams including world rugby and swimming, both in Dubai and abroad. Prior to specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Kate worked in the UK as a partner in a family medicine practice giving her an excellent general medicine background and allowing her to treat patients holistically.

Dr Kate was one of the first to complete the International Olympic Committee Diploma in Sports Medicine. She earned her Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Edinburgh, Scotland.
