Dr. Sakina Farhat our Consultant Gastroenterologist here at the Emirates Hospital earned her medical degree in India and then moved to the United states of America where she completed her education and training in Gastroenterology and hepatology. She practiced gastroenterology in the USA before she moved here to Dubai. She is a board certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology (ABIM). She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American Association for the study of Liver Disease (AASLD) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).

Dr. Farhat welcomes patients who speak English, and other languages from different ethnic communities.
