Dr. Azra Qaiser has more than 20 years of experience in managing vascular surgical conditions. Her expertise includes management of acute and chronic peripheral limb ischemia and venous injuries, both in adult and pediatric population. Angioaccess procedures for haemodialysis in renal failure e.g, insertion of hemodialysis catheter,construction of arteriovenous shunt,insertion of arteriovenous graft. Insertion of Armport portacath, for patients requiring extended, parental nutrition or chemotherapy. Management of venous disease e.g. varicose vein, chronic venous insufficiency , DVT, post thrombotic syndrome, endovenous procedures for varicose vein, sclerotherapy for superficial venous telengectasias and recurrent veins. Management of lymphatic disorders e.g., lymphoedema, lymphangitis. Management of chronic leg wounds associated with diabetes,chronic venous insufficiency,lymphatic disorders. Dr. Qaiser has special areas of interest in general surgical conditions such as, management of breast disease, including biopsy and needle core biopsy of breast mass. Management of anorectal conditions such as, fissures, hemorrhoids and peri anal fistulae. Management of gall bladder disease, surgical management of axillary and groin lymph nodes, excision of simple tumors of head and neck, surgical management of acute and chronic pilonidal sinuses. Management of abdominal and inguinal hernias, surgical management of benign skin tumors e.g. sebaceous cyst, lipomas,in-growing toe nails etc.She has extensive experience in managing diabetic foot.
