Dr. Arwa trained and started her career in Baghad, Iraq and qualified from the medical school of Baghdad University in 1985. After her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a major teaching hospital in Iraq she became a consultant in Iraq then Saudi Arabia, and had further training in Canada.
Dr. Arwa actively participated in teaching medical students and was a co-examiner for final year students at the medical school in Baghdad.
Obstetrics including normal delivery, vaginal assisted deliveries and caesarean sections ,Management of emergencies in obstetrics ,Management of infertility ,Management of abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy ,Correction of female genital prolapse (anterior colporaphy and posterior colpopereneorhapy) ,Managing laparotomies for ectopic pregnancy, myomectomy, oopherectomy and ovarian cystectomy.
