Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital was established in 2008 and provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency department. This Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospital offers the very highest standard of healthcare, delivered by a highly qualified team of medical experts. We continue to develop our services to be the leading private tertiary hospital in Abu Dhabi. This includes refurbishment and upgrade of our facilities and services to be completed over the next 12-18 months, and the construction of a significant new extension, more than double the size of the existing hospital, which will contain a Comprehensive Cancer Centre (radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and chemotherapy in partnership with Hirslanden in Switzerland and Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai), as well as upgraded maternity, NICU and paediatric facilities and services and an upgraded pharmacy.
The hospital’s team of medical professionals offer high quality care to patients and their family members. Patients have access to world-class diagnostic services, treatments and facilities including a newly-renovated maternity facilities, cardiac intensive care unit, a heart attack centre, lasik eye surgery, endoscopic procedures, neurosurgery, bariatric surgery and much more.
During 2018, a significant expansion project was launched Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital which will see the hospital more than double in size. The new building, projected to open in 2021 and located directly adjacent to the current hospital, will house the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, modelled on Mediclinic’s existing leading oncology treatment unit at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai, which will feature the very latest in radiotherapy and nuclear medicine. It will also feature new services such as IVF and a paediatric high dependency unit, as well as additional outpatient clinics and inpatient wards.

I would like to thank the distinguished and respected pharmacist (Suhail) at Mediclinic Hospital, Airport Street Branch, for his humility in serving patients and the speed of facilitating the procedures for receiving medicines and following up on work progress. He also works hard not to delay in receiving or delivering medical prescriptions.
