Dr. Avantika Singh is a consultant paediatric gastroenterologist with more than eight years of experience. After she graduated from medical college in India she moved to the United States of America for further training. She completed her Paediatric residency at State University of New York, Downstate and University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. She then completed her fellowship in Paediatric Gastroenterology at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. In addition to her training in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Dr Avantika also completed an advanced fellowship in Paediatric Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.

Dr. Avantika is Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both Paediatrics and Paediatric Gastroenterology. Dr. Avantika has also actively participated in research activities and clinical drug trials. She also won the Research Day Award of Excellence in 2017 for her research during fellowship. She has co-authored multiple articles in peer reviewed national and international journals. She has presented her research at several national and international conferences. She was also the recipient of a visiting IBD fellowship programme from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and worked at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Los Angles, USA. Dr. Avantika has also actively participated in quality improvement initiatives. She was a part of the ImproveCareNow Network, a multi-center collaborative that provides quality improvement techniques and tools that enable participating care providers to achieve the model IBD care practices.

Dr. Avantika is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).
