Dr. Azzan Al Saadi

Dr. Azzan Al Saadi graduated from Cairo University Medical College. He started surgical training in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England in different departments including Plastic surgery and in 1988 obtained the FRCS. In 1990 he was appointed in the post of Assistant Professor in Surgical Department. He had received additional training at Saint Mark Hospital in London for Anal and colorectal diseases as well as Laparoscopic surgery. He is a fellow of Royal College of Surgeon of London and Glasgow as well.

He was appointed as Associate Professor and then Professor of Surgery at Medical school, Sana’a university where he gained further experience in Thyroid, Breast surgery and Urology related diseases.

He joined Saqr Hospital in United Arab Emirates as a consultant surgeon in general and laparoscopic surgery in 1998 with special interest in Hepato-bliary and hernia surgery.

In 2009, he was appointed as head of surgical department in Saqr hospital (MOHAP) and Professor of Surgery at the RAK medical college. He recently obtained advanced training in Bariatric surgery from France, Belgium and Austria. In 2012 he was appointed as an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeon of England and in 2014 appointed as an Examiner for the RCSPG. Dr. Azzan is well versed with all laparoscopic procedures like Gall Bladder, Appendix, Hernias and Bariatric Surgeries, Thyroid Surgery Breast Surgery Anal and Recto-colon surgery and Abdominoplasty.
