Dr. Esko Kalevi Janatuinen

Dr. Esko Janatuinen is a Finnish trained consultant of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He graduated from Kuopio University, Finland in 1978 and specialised in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Kuopio University Hospital before attaining his Diploma in Internal Medicine from the Finnish National Board of Health in 1984 and Diploma in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 1987. He taught and worked at the university from 1988 to 1996 when he moved to Abu Dhabi. He has worked at Mediclinic as Head of Department since 2011.

Dr. Janatuinen has 87 publications to his name, mainly on Gastroenterology. His main scientific interest has been coeliac disease.
