Dr. Fawzi Mazek

Prior to joining Mediclinic, Dr. Mazek worked as an orthopaedic surgeon at BTHC in Canada with a waiting list of approximately 18 months. He conducted approximately 220 joint replacements per year with a 96.6% satisfaction rate for total hip replacement compared to peer data of 94% and 85.5% for total knee replacement compared to 84.9%. He conducts arthroscopy of shoulder (includes SLAP repair, anterior stabilisation and rotator cuff repair), knee arthroscopy including ACL and meniscus surgery) high tibial osteotomy, elbow scope, wrist scope, ankle scope and wrist reconstructive surgery.

He was was a member of the Manitoba orthopaedic leadership team and formal chief of surgery of southern Manitoba, Canada. He won a top physician award in Manitoba in 2018.
