Dr. Geetika Dheer

Dr. Geetika is a qualified Paediatrician with an industrious career span of over 17 years. She has expertise in the care of healthy/sick paediatric patients, from newborn to 18 years of age.

She graduated from Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, (Punjab) India in the year 2000, and was awarded best intern for 2001. Later she completed her post-graduation (MD Paediatrics) from the same institution in 2007, and was elevated to a Senior Resident position. Owing to her strong contributions to the institution, she was promoted within an year to the post of Assistant Professor, and eventually went on to become an Associate Professor in 2013.

She has even served in Australia over a 1-year fellowship program in Paediatric Emergency, at the Mater Children's Emergency, Brisbane.

Prior to joining NMC Royal, she has worked as a Specialist Paediatrician with Aster Clinic, Ras Al Khaimah, for a period of almost 2 years, starting 2015.

She has been active on the academia front as well, and has 10 publications and 2 poster presentations to her credit in reputed national/international medical journals. She continues to be an active member of the National Faculty on Neonatal Resuscitation/ Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS).
