Dr. Hatem Ramadan

Dr. Ramadan has more than 20 years of professional experience spanning an array of clinical practice, education, training, research, quality, management and leadership.

He trained and practised in the UK for 15 years including five years as a consultant in Respiratory and Internal Medicine before working as a consultant and head of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at another Abu Dhabi Hospital for four years.

He is double board certified in Respiratory and Internal Medicine from the UK. He is also certified in Safety, Quality, Informatics and Leadership (Harvard Medical School). He holds a Master of Business Administration in International Healthcare Management (UK), and was awarded two subspeciality clinical fellowships in Interventional Bronchoscopy, Chest US and Medical Thoracoscopy.

He has been an invited speaker to 10 international respiratory meetings and credited with many peer reviewed respiratory publications including pioneer research about Niemann Pick disease and Pulmonary AVM. He is also an ad hoc Invited reviewer to peer reviewed medical journals.

He was formerly a member of the Executive Higher Specialist Respiratory Training committee and a medical school examiner (UK).
