Dr. Yaaqoub Abdulla Al Hammadi

Dr. Al Hammadi graduated from Glasgow University, UK, over 20 years ago. He completed all his training in the UK (Glasgow, Manchester, London) and worked in the UK NHS from 1997 until 2010 where he worked with one of Londons most renowned knee/sport surgeons, Dr. Andrew Williams, and had the opportunity to look after many male and female sports professionals, especially footballers and rugby players. Prior to joining Mediclinic, he worked at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi where he was Chief of Orthopaedics and, for two years, Deputy Chief Medical Officer.

He provides specialised surgery services including total knee (all levels of complexity) and hip (not complicated) replacement, partial knee replacement, simple and complex multi-ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy and menisectomy/meiniscal repair, fracture fixation around the knee and osteotomies around the knee for correction of deformities.
