Dr. Fuad Ahmed received his Medical Degree from College of Medicine, Baghdad University in Iraq and performed his residency clinical training in Medical City Teaching Centre, Iraq. To his credit, Dr. Fuad has numerous articles in top medical journals and has made presentations at national and international meetings. A leader in advanced laparoscopic techniques, he has been a supporter of transforming many highly invasive surgical procedures into minimally invasive operations. His leadership is pronounced in minimally invasive weight loss procedures: laparoscopic gastric banding, laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, laparoscopic gastric bypass, revisions of failed weight loss surgeries, and endoscopic intragastric balloon placement.
