Javed Khan

He graduated in Medicine in 1988 from Kashmir University, India. He obtained Master’s degree in General Surgery in 1995 from SKIMS, Srinagar, India, a deemed university. After super specialty training in Cardiothoracic Surgery, he was awarded Master’s (M.Ch.) from University of Mumbai, India in 1999.

After working in reputed cardiac surgery centers in India and Dubai, Dr Javed obtained further specialty training in adult cardiac surgery at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide, South Australia in the years 2006 and 2007.

Dr Javed Khan, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon joined SKMC in September 2007. Prior to joining SKMC, he worked at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide, Australia. With over 14 years of experience as a cardiac surgeon, Dr Javed has been performing cardiac surgery on wide range of patients. In addition, he has strong research background. During his current appointment at SKMC, he is involved in all facets of adult cardiac surgery.
