SAYED HASSAN ELSIAH

Dr. Sayed Elsiah started in Solo Private Practice in Nashua New Hampshire for 10 years and practiced in 3 hospital for 5 years. He was the first Surgeon to introduce Laparoscopic Surgery in his area and the forefront of stereo tactic biopsy technique and Sentinel Node Biopsies as well as Sphincter Saving Operation for Rectal Cancer. Dr. Sayed is also active in giving presentations and lectures not only at Tawam but also outside UAE. He also received several awards in his medical School and during his fellowship and was given the Best Physician Award as well.

• Training : Dr. Sayed Elsiah had his Internship at Cairo Medical School before he became a Rural health Doctor in 1977 and from 1978, Dr. Sayed started his Residency at Hannaman University and continued at Slone Kettering Memorial Cancer Center, NY. He then continued his residency at Yale University until 1984 with Special Rotation at Breghamen and Women Hospital in Harvard UUniversity in 1984 as and became the Chief Resident of Surgery at Yale University from 1984 - 1985. 1985 - 1987, Dr. Sayed had his Fellowship in Surgical Oncology and Solid Tumor Chemotherapy at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

  Aside from these, Dr. Sayed attended several Training Courses on Update Surgical Oncology, Gyne-Oncology, general Surgery, Breast and Sentinel Node Biopsy as well as Advanced Laparoscopy and Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery, Gastric Band and Laparoscopic Surgery Techniques.
