Waldemar Gorka

Dr. Gorka's main areas of interest are organ transplant radiology, vascular studies and trauma imaging, based on his years of experience in tertiary trauma centers and liver and renal transplant surgery units. As Head of the Ultrasound Section, he has been organizing regular training programs for technologists, physicians and students.

Dr. Gorka founded the "Tawam Doppler Society", a group of enthusiasts and proponents of Doppler methods promoting the use of noninvasive vascular studies in radiology. His scholarly publications were devoted to Doppler Studies in liver disease and transplantation with several landmark articles cited and debated in current literature.
