Cassandra De Baere

Dr.Cassandra has continuously tried to improved her knowledge and was engaged for 8 years in several post-graduate courses such as a 2 years program in Psycho-Analysis at the University of Ghent, followed by a 3 years training program in Substance Abuse Counselling. An additional 3 years education in Psychotherapy at the Interaction Academy of Antwerp allowed her to become a Systemic Psychotherapist. She has also attended the Life-Coaching courses offered by the CTI-Institute in Dubai. Prior to coming to Dubai, Dr. Cassandra has been counselling for more than 10 years in Belgium. Partly she worked in a clinic that specialized in substance abuse and the other half of her time she spent in her own practice dealing with a large variety of symptoms such as depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, grieve etc. At the time she was also training other specialists in ""Motivational Interviewing"" based on the model of Proschaska and Di Clementi. Dr. Cassandra's focus is to treat adolescents and adults with various psychiatric/psychological problems. She has a special interest in Individual Therapy but does not exclude Marital Therapy and Family Counselling.
