Qualifications
Dr. Abdulwahid Mohamed Ali Alwahedi graduated MBBS in Ulm University, West Germany. After graduating from medical school, he had his residency training program in General Surgery and Traumatology in Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah and Aachen University, West Germany. Dr. Abdulwahidthen gained his German License – Facharzt General Surgeon in year 2004.

Experience
Dr. Abdulwahid is a German Certified (FACHARZT) Consultant General and Bariatric Surgeon with 20 years of clinical and surgical exposure.

Apart from his association with University Hospital Sharjah (UHS), as Consultant General and Bariatric Surgeon, he is associated with Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah as Head of General Surgery Department. Prior to that, he also led the Accident and Emergency Department of Al Qassimi Hospital for over 3 years.

Aside from his clinical involvement, Dr. Abdulwahidis also an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the College of Medical and Health Sciences at University of Sharjah and was also a former member of the Higher Committee of Medical Liability in UAE for 3 years.
