Dr. Abdulla Qassim

Dr. Qassimis is one among our Best Neurologists in Dubai . He has performed over three thousand surgeries. He has expertise in cranial and spinal microscopic vascular neurosurgery (cerebral aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation AVM, AV fistula, cavernoma), cerebral hemorrhage (bleeding), skull base, tumors of the brain and spinal cord (glioma, meningioma, neuroma, schwannoma), hydrocephalus, VP and VA shunt, endoscopic third ventriculostomy ETV, neuroendoscopy, lumbar and cervical disc surgery, surgery of narrow spinal canal (stenosis), pituitary gland (adenoma) surgery, surgical and non-surgical management of trigeminal neuralgia, paediatric neurosurgery and peripheral nerve (Carpel Tunnel) surgery. He also has extensive experience in trauma of the nervous system.

Dr. Qassim was the recipient of Dubai Government Excellence Award in 2012. He was awarded post-graduate certificate in Medical Education from Keele University in UK in 2013. He attends international meetings to keep abreast of developments in the field of Neurosurgery, such as the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies, European Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery conference and the Leksell Gamma Knife Society meetings. Dr. Qassim is a past board member of the Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons, and is currently the head of Department of Neurosurgery in Rashid Hospital in Dubai, and the Saudi Board neurosurgery examination and training programme director for Rashid Hospital centre.
