Dr .Adriana Nollen graduated with Honours from the renowned medical school at State University of Leiden in the Netherlands. She worked as a resident in training in Internal Medicine and Radiotherapy for two years before starting her training in General Radiology at Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. After her licensing as a radiologist she started to work as a consultant radiologist in the Sint Lucas-Andreas Hospital in Amsterdam where she subspecialised in Breast Imaging and Abdominal and Genitourinary Radiology. After the merger of two hospitals she continued to work in the then named OLVG-Hospital in Amsterdam, which is one of the largest teaching hospitals of the Netherlands. There she was involved in resident and fellow training as well as in management and quality committees. She has certified as a breast screening radiologist and worked within the National Breast screening program in The Netherlands.

She is the author of five pubmed publications. She has a special interest in quality and as such was a member of the Dutch quality and accreditation committee of the Dutch Society of Radiology.
