Dr. Alexander Klingmann

Dr. Alexander is Consultant Paediatric Anesthesiologist at Al Jalila Children’s and graduated from Heidelberg University, Heidelberg, Germany in 1994. He completed his specialist anaesthetist training and fellowship in intensive care medicine and emergency medicine in Germany. Before joining Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, he was consultant anaesthetist in different hospitals in Germany such as Detmold, University Hospital of Heidelberg and Governmental Hospital of Karlsruhe.

He was a consultant anaesthetist at Dubai Health Authority before moving to Dubai Healthcare City and is an affiliate member of the European and German Society of Paediatric Anaesthesia.

Dr. Alexander’s areas of clinical interest are neonatal and paediatric perioperative anaesthesia care, in addition to post-operative pain management and paediatric sedation.
