AthanasiaPrentza, is a qualified physiotherapist by the Technological Educational Institute of Sterea Ellada, Faculty of Health and Caring Professions, Department of Physiotherapy, Greece. She is a professional full member of the Panhellenic Physical Therapy Association, member of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy and the Scientific Department of Pediatric Physical Therapy.

She has been in the field of physical therapy since 2002, working in private practices, sport fields and home-private sessions in Greece, Italy and the U.S.A.. Athanasia is an AHCB certified therapist (USA) and certified adaptive riding instructor by the Pennsylvania Council for Therapeutic Horsemanship (USA) and has been working in the field of Equine Assisted Therapies & Activities since 2007. She is a certified Ergon® Technique practitioner, a new method focused on treating fascia and soft tissue injuries. She has attended numerous courses as part of her continuing professional development, regarding physical therapy science, therapeutic riding and the art of horse riding.
