Dr. Aws Sarmed Alfahad

Dr Alfahad, is senior interventionist. He has an extensive experience in image guided procedures across wide spectrum of peripheral vascular and non-vascular interventions. He has over 15 years experience in the U.K. National Health Service having training in Centers of excellence such as Cambridge, Norwich, Sheffield, Hull, Leeds and Glasgow. He was chief of Interventional radiology across four hospitals in Manchester, U.K. He is also ex-clinical tutor and specialty lead in clinical radiology. He served as panel member for Royal College of Radiologists interviews. He also an examiner on FRCR courses, faculty member and presenter on national and international conferences in the field of interventional radiology. He has numerous publications in his area of expertise and was principle investigator on international research study (BASIL). He has received multiple awards in recognition for his leadership roles in developing the interventional radiology service, improving patient experience and training opportunities.
