Born and brought up in South India, finished her medical degree in 1994 from India. Migrated to the United kingdom and started practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1996 till 2003. In that period completed her Membership qualification, MRCOG from Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She changed to Family medicine in 2003 to have a work-life balance and obtained CCT and MRCGP qualifications from the Royal College of General Practice, London. She has a certification of Diploma in Family planning and also in Diabetes. Keen and passionate about all aspects of family medicine with a special interest in woman's health, Chronic pain management (Cancer and Noncancer Pain), Chronic diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, and Asthma, and common pediatric problems. She is well versed with Primary prevention and screening for chronic diseases, screening for common cancers.
