Dr. Dima H Abdul Jabbar

Dr. Abdul Jabbar is an American Board of Medical Oncology/Internal medicine certified consultant with over 7 years of clinical experience. She started her career as Oncology Hospitalist at Wayne State University, Karmanos Cancer Institute in Michigan, USA and afterwards as a Medical Oncologist and Assistant Professor at University of South Florida and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida, USA and for the past 2 years she was practicing in UAE at Health Bay Polyclinic, Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai and Gulf International Cancer Center in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, Dr. Dima has also been an active staff oncologist at Bay Care Hospital and Cancer Center in Florida, USA for the past two years. Dr. Dima Abdul Jabbar completed her residency training in Internal Medicine in St. John Hospital and Medical Center/Wayne State University in Michigan, USA (2011) and the same year received the American Board in Internal Medicine.

She also served as a clinical research fellow at the lymphoma department in MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, USA. She has completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology (2013) at University of Nevada School of Medicine, Nevada, USA an obtained the American Board in Medical Oncology certification as well. Dr. Dima has a passion for education and learning. She has led and served as a member of the Multidisciplinary tumor board teams in her scope of clinical practice and has been actively involved in several clinical trials throughout her career journey at internationally recognized cancer centers in the United States.
