Dr. Emilia Saulle

Dr. Emilia Saulle recently moved to Dubai from United Kingdom (UK) where she worked as a Consultant Neurologist from 2004 until 2015. She studied Medicine at the University of Messina in Italy, achieving her medical degree in 1997. Following Medical School, she completed her Neurology specialist training at the University Tor Vergata in Rome in 2003 (CCST in Neurology). She then moved to the UK where she worked as full-time Consultant Neurologist at Hearth of England NHS Foundation Trust (Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and Solihull Hospital) for over a decade.

She has cared for and treated patients with a wide spectrum of acute and chronic neurological disorders both in the outpatient clinics and in the hospital wards. She has also been actively involved in teaching students, medical Doctors and General Practitioners on various neurology topics.

She is a General Neurologist who sees patients with a variety of neurological complaints including:

• Headaches, migraine, facial pain
• Loss of Consciousness and epilepsy
• Dizziness
• Neck and back pain
• Weakness, numbness, speech difficulties
• Multiple sclerosis
• Tremor, movement disorders, and Parkinson’s disease
• Memory problems, dementia
• Nerve and muscle: neuropathies, myopathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, motor neuron disease
• Cerebrovascular disorders and stroke
• Sleep problems

She is on the General Medical Council register and Neurology register in the UK and she is a Fellow member of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP- London, UK). She is a fully licensed Consultant Neurologist with the Dubai Health Authority.
