Dr. Firas Younis

Dr Firas Younis is a general surgeon with an interest in laparoscopic and open colorectal surgery. Dr Younis has special interests in colorectal oncology, inflammatory bowel disease, pouch construction, diverticular disease, and pelvic floor surgery.
He is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr Firas has a certificate of completion of training in general and colorectal surgery from East Anglia and Cambridge. He has also been awarded the Intercollegiate Fellowship (FRCSI) in general surgery with specialist interest in Colorectal Surgery.

Dr Firas has completed post CCT fellowship in laparoscopic and open colorectal surgery in North Shore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. He is JAG Accredited in Endoscopy and a member of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland.
