Dr. Gehad El Gergawy

Dr. Gehad El Gergawy graduated from the Commenius University in Slovakia, Faculty of Medicine, in 2005, and qualified as a cardiologist with special interest in interventional cardiology from the Slovak Medical University in 2013, both times with the highest possible distinctions.

He then moved to the United Kingdom where he held a position of Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in various hospitals across the U.K. NHS. During his extraordinary career Dr. Gergawy did not only cover the full spectrum of adult cardiology and interventions but also has been supervising and training junior cardiologists and cardiology trainees in the field of interventional cardiology. Dr. Gergawy is the co-author of a wide array of scientific papers published in the foremost cardiology journals, and a member of Slovak, Czech, European, British, and American societies of Cardiology and Cardiac Interventions.

Dr. Gehad adds a whole new sphere of expertise for our cardiac patients, focusing on the primary prevention, treatment, and secondary prevention of coronary artery diseases.
