Dr. Guy Chung Faye

Dr. Dahhan is American Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He has Dr Guy Chung-Faye is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Physician at King’s College Hospital, a London Teaching NHS Hospital and Academic Health Sciences Centre. He also practices at London Bridge Private Hospital and King’s College Hospital, Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

He is a medical graduate (MB ChB) of the University of Leicester Medical School and attained his PhD in “Gene therapy strategies in Colon cancer” from the University of Birmingham. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG).

He has extensive experience (over 20 years) in Gastroenterology and he is friendly and approachable and offers a holistic treatment approach to his patients. He sees patients with all aspects of Gastroenterology conditions and has specialist interests in Cancer, including Bowel Cancer Screening, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gastroenteritis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Dyspepsia & Reflux, Endoscopic Treatment of Obesity (Gastric Balloon) and Neuro-Gastroenterology. He is also part of the Advanced Therapies team, led by Dr Vinod Metta and Professor Ray Chaudhuri, treating patients with Parkinson’s disease with jejunal infusion of Levodopa.

He is the Director of Bowel Cancer Screening and was previously the Clinical Lead in Upper GI (oesophageal & stomach) Cancer for over 15 years at King’s College Hospital. He is an expert in advanced endoscopy and a nationally accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopist with a colonoscopy completion rate of over 95%, excellent polyp detection rates of over 50% and very high levels of patient comfort.

He has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and he has written several book chapters. He is active in research and clinical trials in IBD, Cancer, Genetics and Neuro-Gastroenterology.
