Dr. Habib Abdullah

Dr Habib is a US-trained and licensed Clinical Psychologist with clinical expertise in Sleep Clinic, Diabetes, Nephrology, Limb Reconstruction, Cochlear Implant, Kidney Transplant and Trauma Clinic.

He serves as the Lead of Psychology at Amana Healthcare, Dubai and provides clinical services at Healthpoint, Abu Dhabi, both under the Mubadala umbrella. Additionally, he is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). He has previously also practiced as a Paediatric Clinical Psychologist at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital.

Dr Habib earned his bachelors’ degree at State University of New York and completed his masters and Doctorate (PhD) from California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. He completed his internship in in Paediatrics at Primary Care Psychology Associates (PCPA) in Chicago and completed his Fellowship in Paediatric Psychology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Dr Habib also completed his clinical training within the Oncology department at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he ran and developed individual and family-based interventions. Additionally, Dr Habib has done research in paediatric pain and stigma against mental health. He is a board member of Division 54 Section of Paediatric Psychology International Committee.
