Dr. John Baker

John Baker is an ex-professional football player, turned physiotherapist who graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) in 2007. His career has seen him step up to senior level in the NHS, while also dividing his time working in professional sport for Rochdale football club and various private practices. He came to Dubai in 2012 and has enjoyed the opportunity of working in both sports and clinic based settings.

John has a huge passion for treating people that have failed previous treatments and feels that resolving the more complex and challenging cases are what really drive his passion towards physiotherapy.

Treatment strategy

“He has a strong belief that physiotherapy should be uniquely tailored and targeted to the patient’s individual profile and journey, whilst be underpinned by evidence-based practice, good education, goal setting and a focus on long-term solutions to the problem. A good up to date critical understanding of the literature and being able to apply the science of the data within the context of the person in front of you is absolutely essential in modern day healthcare”.
