Dr. Kaiser Raja

Dr. Kaiser Raja is a Senior Consultant in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases with more than 15 years experience. Dr. Kaiser Raja has done his post-graduate medical training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from the Post-graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh (India) from 1996 to 2002. Following that he has done an Advanced Fellowship in Liver Diseases and Transplant Hepatology from the Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York. He has been practising in the United Arab Emirates since 2003. Since 2011, he has been associated with two large hospital groups in India and has been instrumental in establishing two large liver disease centres and liver transplant programs in India.

Apart from management of common digestive problems, he is an expert in liver diseases, chronic hepatitis B, hepatitis C, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, and autoimmune liver disease. He is specifically trained in liver transplantation, can evaluate patients requiring liver transplants, and can provide medical care to patients following liver transplantation.

His expertise also includes advanced therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP, management of inflammatory bowel diseases, pancreatic disorders, and gastrointestinal cancers.

Dr. Kaiser Raja is a executive member of the governing council of the Liver Transplant Society of India. He is a member of the American Association of Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), European Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (EASL),  and the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS).
