Dr. Maria Karakoulaki

Dr. Maria Karakoulaki studied Medicine at Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich, (LMU), one of the most prestigious universities in Germany and in Cornell University NY USA (with scholarship during the last year of medical school).  She then specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Athens, Greece and Munich, Germany.

She is both German (Fachartzt) and Greek Board certified. Dr. Karakoulaki completed her two years Master’s degree with honours on the subject of Gynaecological Endocrinology – Infertility at the University of Athens.

She is also a certified paediatric and adolescent gynaecologist by the German College of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.

Before moving to Dubai, Dr. Karakoulaki ran her own private clinic in Athens and was an associate of Mitera Hospital, the largest private maternity and gynaecological hospital in Greece.

Dr. Maria is a passionate doctor, who emphasizes on having a close and personal relationship with her patients because she believes that friendly communication is a very important element in the doctor-patient relationship, which ultimately leads to the best outcomes.
