With over 32 years of pediatric experience, Dr. Medhat Abu- Shaaban leads myPediaclinic with outstanding performance, adapting state-of-the-art technologies, and promoting his practice in the United Arab Emirates after 20 years of experience in the US at an American Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Medhat Abu- Shaaban finished his Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Hospitals USA, before running a private clinic at the prestigious Mercy Hospital in Baltimore and St. Joseph Hospital in Towson. He was awarded “Best Pediatrician Award” from Baltimore Magazine and the Towson Times Magazine in Maryland.

After a successful career in the US, he moved his private practice to Amman, Jordan, and spent around 12 years in creating one of the most successful pediatric practices in the country. During his stay in Amman, he embarked several initiatives such as creating Babywise program in collaboration with Farah Hospital.

Dr. Medhat Abu- Shaaban has also created an informative booklet, which covers the needed information and tips that parents should be aware of from birth to one year of age.
