Dr. Michael McLaughlin

Dr. McLaughlin is a consultant Intensivist and Anesthesiologist. Previously he has worked as a consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. His training was carried out on the West of Scotland rotation which included placements in several recognized centers of excellence. This rotation required training in general, cardiothoracic, and neuro ICU before Dr. McLaughlin completed additional training in advanced Intensive Care Medicine. He is accredited in chest ultrasound for intensive care patients (CUSIC). He also has a Masters's degree in Health Economics for which he is involved in ongoing research.
