He provided regional service for cerebrospinal fluid leaks and angiofibromas at KFSHRC, Riyadh.

Prof. Timms has published on all uses of Coblation in ENT surgery including Tonsils & Adenoids, Nasal & Sinus Tumours, Laryngeal Tumours, Papillomas and airway stenosis.

He regularly lectures and does live surgical demonstrations of Coblation in 42 countries worldwide.

Prof. Timms has been attributed to revive the Cochlear Implant Programme at KFSHRC, Riyadh.
