Dr. Mohammed Aldashan

Dr. Mohammad Ismail Khaleel Aldahshan is a European board certified Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. He also has a German board in Gastroenterology. He has more than 15 years of extensive experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Germany and performs all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Dr. Aldahshan worked in regional centres in Germany where he finished his fellowship in Borromaus Hospital in Leer and then Joined the renowned Ludmillenstift Hospital in Meppen, Germany. He pursued further Certificate training in Hepatology and in Inflamatory Bowel Disease – Crohns and Ulcerative colitis from the DGVS (The German association of Gastroenterology). Academically Dr. Aldahshan managed to complete many adjunct certifications including the ECFMG from the USA, MRCSI exams from the UK and other certification, which collectively added to his clinical expertise in the field of Gastroenterology.

He is adept in performing the entire spectrum of Endoscopies with particular interest in the care of medically complex cases especially Highly complicated Interventional Endoscopy including Gastroscopies, colonoscopies, Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP, banding, treatment of bleeding ulcers, esophageal and stomach stenting, PEG placement and various Colonoscopic procedures like polyp removal Full thickness resections of big polyps, endoscopic mucosa resections and endoscopic submucosal dissections of polyps. Dr. Aldahshan has experience in performing over 1000 procedures ERCPs for stone removal, CBD and pancreatic stenting among others. His area of expertise is the emerging future of Gastroenterology using Endoscopic Ultrasound with Interventions such as Fine Needle Biopsy, Transgastral drainage of collections and pancreatic pseudocysts. Endoscopic Ultrasound guided Radio Frequency Ablation of tumours, Endoscopic Ultrasound staging of Gastrointestinal malignancies and their management.

Dr. Aldahshan is well engaged in all digestive diseases as well as in depth investigations for difficult GI conditions and liver diseases. He had rich experience in Gastrointestinal Cancer Staging and management using advanced techniques as well as palliative management of advanced Malignancies of the Gastrointestinal tract.

Dr. Aldahshan is offering endoscopic management of obesity including endoscopic placement of Gastric Balloon and capsule balloon that does not require any endoscopy. To his credit is also the participation in many National and International conferences as a speaker and as lecturer.
